This South Carolina driver caused a pile-up with a U-Haul truck that injured seven people. It didn’t seem to impact her as she claimed to be ‘unfazed’ by the situation. But she started screaming about how police officers were harassing her, so that comes off as being a bit fazed in my humble opinion.

South Carolina woman ‘unfazed’ by causing a pileup with a U-Haul truck

A North Charleston police officer was having an uneventful shift and patrolling Meeting Street and Dorchester Road when he spotted a familiar U-Haul truck. He realized that it was traveling through areas known for high crime and drugs all morning.

The officer got behind the truck and it made an awkward maneuver while partially stopping in the middle of an intersection. He turned on his lights to initiate a traffic stop.

Then the driver, identified as, Margi Kathy Brown, floored it, starting a police chase on I-26. The chase became dangerous as the truck entered city streets. Brown caused a wreck on Reid Street. She hit a Mercedes sedan that hit a motorcycle and flew into a Chevrolet Tahoe.

The driver’s side door was jammed, so the police officer had Brown exit the passenger side as she yelled and ranted. According to Counton 2, she was yelling about the government and being a part of the sovereign citizen movement.

Plus, a male suspect jumped out of the U-Haul truck and ran away. He was quickly tracked down and arrested. Despite being sovereign citizens, the pair still broke the law and injured seven people. But it’s unclear if the truck had anything illegal in it.
