Idiot TikToker gets 12 years for killing 6 people with a BMW M5 in a 151-mph crash
A 20-year-old TikToker is heading to jail after slamming into an SUV on a Florida highway. At the time of the crash, he was driving at 151 mph in his BMW M5, more than fast enough to cause devastation in a collision. Today, he’s facing a dozen years in prison.
The then 17-year-old TikToker is set to serve 12 years in prison after killing six people with his BMW M5 going over 150 mph
In 2022, TikToker Noah Galle was 17 years old. The Florida child earned a following on the social media platform by “driving at high rates of speed” in his videos.
He would prompt viewers to guess how fast he was driving, sometimes offering prizes on cash apps. Unfortunately, the inexperienced driver had access to a properly fast car for the videos: a BMW M5.
Regardless of generation, the BMW M5 stands as the yardstick for super sedans. In 2022, the base F90 M5 produced a volcanic 600 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8. All that grunt and an all-wheel drive system could propel the hulking sedan to 60 mph in around three seconds.
That’s faster than the latest Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. It’s simply not a great choice for a 17-year-old.
Tragically, the combination of raw performance potential and daft decision-making resulted in the Florida TikToker striking a Nissan Rogue. Galle hit the Rogue at 151 mph, killing six people in the process. On January 6, 2025, Galle and his legal team entered a plea deal, accepting a sentence of 12 years and six months in prison. Incidentally, the TikToker was facing at least 55 years in prison if the case proceeded to trial.
On top of the prison sentence, Galle is looking at 800 hours of community service. Troublingly, People reports that Galle’s plea deal includes a three-year license revocation and a “12-hour driving course.”
The mandated course and license revocation suggest that Galle will unfortunately one day rejoin the motoring public. Of course, he’ll be in his thirties when he does.
