Now, the automaker is issuing a new car recall for more than 300,000 units of some of the most popular Ram trucks that could have issues with braking and stability. Stellantis and its cars are no strangers to a car recall

However, according to The Associated Press, Stellantis is recalling 317,630 Ram trucks over an issue with the hydraulic control unit. Specifically, the unit is prone to failure, which could cause problems with the anti-lock brakes, traction control, and electronic stability control system. 

So, which trucks are included with the car recall from Stellantis? It impacts the Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 from 2017 and 2018. Naturally, this problem with the hydraulic control unit can present massive safety issues for people who drive these trucks. Luckily, the regular braking system isn’t impacted by this recall.
