Pumpkin spice car washes are a thing now, too
If you’re a fan of pumpkin spice, drive around the East Coast, and care to indulge in a “festive, scented experience,” you’re in for a treat this month.
ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers has 20 locations across New England, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine. Until November 30, the company offers a limited edition opportunity to fill your car’s cabin with a cloud of pumpkin spice as you move down the wash track.
How do they do it?
The cozy flavor costs car wash customers an extra $5. ScrubaDub’s “UltraShine” step contains the spiced perfume. After selecting the special option and starting the wash process, motorists turn the air recirculation setting off, switch the blower fan on, and inhale the pleasant aroma.
Aside from ponying up the cost of a pumpkin spice latte, drivers are truly helping a local charity
ScrubaDub says that all pumpkin spice car wash proceeds in November will go to Community Servings. The group provides home-delivered meals nutritionally catered to those with critical and chronic illnesses. Community Servings operates in Maine and Rhode Island.
