Police officers in Detroit, Michigan, have been watching the trend spread like wildfire across the city. According to CarBuzz, authorities are worried that this activity will go viral on the internet. 

For example, videos showed how easy it is to steal older Kia models with a screwdriver. People are still rampantly targeting Kia models years after the videos got popular.
