Everyone knows that Honda makes some of the best new cars and SUVs to buy. This has been the case for what seems like forever. However, despite its legendary status, Honda is issuing a new car recall for some of its most popular SUVs due to an issue that could lead to oil leaks. Naturally, auto mechanics at Honda dealerships will fix the problem for free.

Honda has a new car recall concerning what many call some of the best SUVS to buy

Honda, like all automakers, is no stranger to a car recall. After all, even the best cars can sometimes have unforeseen issues that must be fixed for public safety. Now, according to Yahoo Finance, the company is recalling 205,760 units of the Honda Passport and Pilot SUVs. Specifically, the recall impacts the models from 2023 to 2025 because they could be prone to fuel leaks.

So, what led to this issue behind Honda’s latest car recall? Well, the fuel system has a problem where the filter neck tube could separate from the pipe, which could cause gas leaks in the impacted Honda Passport and Pilot models. Of course, having a vehicle with a gas leak is problematic for several reasons, but it’s also a massive health and safety concern.

As mentioned, auto mechanics at Honda dealerships will fix the issue for free due to the car recall. Essentially, they will inspect the necessary fuel system components and repair them as needed. Honda should begin sending out notification letters soon, but owners can also reach out to local dealerships with questions.
