Construction is pretty loud, and it can be frustrating to listen to. But the noise isn’t always the driver’s fault. One angry man didn’t care and fired his gun at two dump truck drivers in an attempt to force them to be quiet.

Tennessee man fires shots at dump truck drivers because they were loud

The Carter County Police Department in Tennessee ended up arresting a frustrated man after using a gun to intimidate dump truck drivers. Two men at the Carter County Landfill heard shots on Landfill Road, which sounds like a loud street to live on.

According to WJGL, the two drivers stopped in front of a man’s house to talk. They were there less than a minute when multiple shots were fired in their direction.

One driver shared that he was on Landfill Road the day before, and a man ran into the road, jumped on his truck, and threatened him.

The man got on the window of his truck and said that if drivers kept hitting jakebrakes in his residence then he would shoot them. He recognized the same man, holding a pistol after six shots rang out.

Deputies went to the 100 block of Landfill Rd to find the man. They found six shell casings near the home that belongs to 47-year-old Thomas Gambrel.

Gambrel admitted to running outside and firing the shots in frustration because the trucks make too much noise. He also mentioned that he told them to stop. Now he faces two charges of aggravated assault.
