Oregon man attempts to kidnap an 11-year-old girl with pickup truck

An Oregon girl managed to escape a kidnap attempt by escaping the pickup truck that she was forced into just days before Thanksgiving.

The 11-year-old girl was walking around an apartment complex in the 4600 block of Southeast Roethe Road when she was forced into a truck around 2 am.

She was walking around when the man grabbed her. The man physically picked her up and put her in a 1998 Ford F-150.

According to The Mirror, she told police officers that the man drove for a short distance before stopping by homes close by. That’s when she jumped out and ran home.

Then her mom called 911. Officers were able to locate the red pickup truck and the man who matched the girl’s description.

After interviews and an investigation, police arrested 47-year-old Felipe Hernandez Martinez for second-degree kidnapping and harassment.
