Georgia highway gets covered with cheap beer as semi-truck flips
Some drivers in Georgia were probably tempted to pull over and have a beer on Interstate 285 the other night. A semi-truck flipped, spilling cans of Busch Ice all over the road. That’s a cheaper beer variant than Busch Light, though.

I’ll be honest. I have tried Busch Ice before, but it was a long time ago. I got it as a college student because it was extremely affordable and my taste buds weren’t fully developed yet.
While I now need something better than one of the cheapest beers possible, some drivers had the chance to grab piles of Busch Ice for free after a semi-truck flipped, spilling cans everywhere.
Thousands of cans spilled out of a tractor-trailer on Interest 285 near the Interstate 20 entry ramp in DeKalb County. The trucker flipped around 1 AM, so not many people were out.
According to Centre Daily, the truck was moved out of the way by 3 AM, but the beer cans continued to litter the road for hours. In fact, it’s still unclear if they have been removed.
Police officers were shocked by the amount of beer boxes and cans scattered across the area. Also, the cause of the wreck is unknown. On a positive note, no one was injured.
Hopefully, the truck driver had load insurance because if they are an owner-operator, they could be on the hook for the load. I wonder how much a semi-truck load of cheap beer costs.
Stay tuned for updates as the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) may decide to release more information. Until then, see if you can safely grab a warm, shaken-up beer.
