Elon Musk explains mysterious aircraft and his theory on aliens
Elon Musk has lofty goals regarding human progress in space and this year. He’s also already shared his thoughts on so-called UFO and alien sightings…even before all this footage of dozens of mysterious drones appearing on the East Coast went viral. You can watch the full clip below.
To fill in anyone unfamiliar with Elon Musk’s connection to the Wild Beyond, he founded SpaceX. SpaceX and U.S. programs, like NASA and FEMA, are closely partnered. The private American company sends NASA astronauts into orbit and back regularly. SpaceX also owns thousands of functional satellites orbiting Earth. Those provide Starklink internet services to earthlings – famously, to remote and underserved regions. FEMA deployed Starlink to North Carolinians left without reliable means of communication after Hurricane Helene.
And we haven’t even gotten to Musk’s plans for moving some of the human population to Mars, yet.
So, where are the aliens?
Let’s just cut to the chase. Musk says that to his knowledge, there still isn’t any evidence of aliens anywhere close to Earth.
“A lot of people think we’ve seen aliens, but I’ve not seen any evidence of any,” he told Tucker Carlson this fall. “We’ve got 6,000 satellites in orbit, and not once have we had to maneuver around an alien spacecraft.”
Top secret, compartmented clearance
What Musk is sure of though, is a good number of super-secret military programs. “It’s always a bunch of classified programs that are underway…of new aircraft, new missiles, and things, so, they’re classified even in the military.”
Some programs are double-secret, meaning even folks familiar with some programs might not be in the loop on others. “So you, if you have a top-secret, compartmented clearance, would you know about this new program?” he poses. Maybe not.
As such, say a commercial airline pilot spots something strange mid-air. Naturally, they ask a ground controller, who might have some knowledge of nearby military activity. Depending on clearances, though, they may all be left in the dark about the odd aircraft hovering or otherwise moving unlike anything familiar.
“Some pilot sees something moving fast and says, ‘Oh yea, I saw a UF!’, I’m like, yeah, that’s actually a new weapons program…but we can’t tell you that,” he explains.
Don’t worry, you’ll hear about actual alien sightings directly from Elon Musk on X
While Elon Musk says he’s not heard of any real evidence of UFOs or aliens, he assures Tucker Carlson that if he catches wind of aliens, he’ll shout it from X’s rooftop.
“The split second I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post that on the X platform, and it will probably be our number one post of all time.”
