Angry Oklahoma Silverado driver PIT-maneuvers themself off the road [Video]
A wild road rage video has emerged on Instagram. Not only is the featured Silverado driver so furious they go after the same Lexus crossover multiple times—but they’re also clueless enough to spin out their own truck in the process.
It’s unclear what happened before the footage begins. But when another driver starts filming, we see the driver of a red Chevrolet Silverado furious enough to swerve toward what appears to be a Lexus crossover. The Lexus driver, to their credit, stays cool and moves out of the way. Once the Lexus hits the breakdown lane, the Silverado catches up to another Chevrolet truck and is forced to abandon the first sideswipe attempt.
The Lexus then accelerates, retakes its lane, and pulls ahead of the raging Silverado. That seems to really grind the Chevy driver’s gears. The red Silverado swings into the right lane to pass a slower car, then guns it to catch up. Another attempted sideswipe follows—this time with contact. But the Silverado driver miscalculates badly.
The Silverado driver PIT-maneuvers themselves
The Silverado pulls just ahead of the Lexus, clipping the crossover’s front fender with their rear quarter panel. Instead of taking out the Lexus, the Chevy sends itself into a spin. The driver recovers. But they clearly learn nothing.
They renew the effort to ram the Lexus—hitting both vehicles in the same spot. This time, the Lexus slams into the roadside Jersey barrier. The Silverado spins out again and comes to a stop sideways in front of the Lexus.
It looks exactly like a PIT maneuver—the precision immobilization technique cops use to end car chases by nudging the rear of a suspect’s car to send it spinning. Except this wasn’t law enforcement. The Silverado driver managed to PIT themselves—twice.
One Instagram commenter summed up the moment perfectly: “Really showed them ?” You can see the video embedded below:
