Oh no, over 400,000 Ford trucks and SUVs are under recall for different reasons. That means if you own one, you might have to visit a local dealership for a free repair. Don’t drag your feet, because one recall is related to a faulty fuel pump that could cause a random loss of drive power.

Over 400k Ford trucks and SUVs are being recalled

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Ford Motor Company is issuing a recall of Ford trucks and SUVs.

The first recall includes 295,000 heavy-duty trucks from 2020-2022, such as the Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F600.

These trucks may have biodiesel fuel deposits that form on a pump drivetrain roller components and could cause the high-pressure fuel pump to fail. This may result in a loss of drive power.

The next recall is for 47,818 2024-2024 Lincoln Nautilus models. The automatic window reversal system might fail to stop the window when it detects an obstruction. Basically, the windows might crush your fingers.

Also, roughly 30,715 2029 Ford Flex, Fiesta, and Lincoln MKT SUVs have malfunctioning review camera screens. Instead of seeing what’s behind you, a black screen or distorted images may appear.

Last but not least, the 20,484 2020-2024 Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair SUVs have high-voltage battery cell issues. A defect might cause an internal short circuit that causes battery failure.

Each recall except for the Flex, Fiesta, and MKT one have repairs ready to roll. Take your truck or SUV to a local dealership to have the fuel pump replaced, door modules recalibrated, or battery energy control module software updated for free.

If you have a Fiesta, Flex, or MKT then Ford will contact you when it has a fix for the faulty reverse cameras.
