The Ford Mustang Mach-E isn’t here yet, but it will be here soon for 2021. Even though it hasn’t officially hit the streets, it’s gone from sports sedan to a crossover SUV that’s full of muscle. Some people might hate the new look, and others are stoked. Either way, all we can do is share what we know so far.

1. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is powerful

The Ford Mustang Mach-E can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds. That’s faster than other electric and hybrid options. The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid goes from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds, but the RAV4 Prime might be faster.

The standard battery provides a range of 210 miles, and the extended range battery is estimated to produce 300 miles. The base model will have 255 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. You can also upgrade to 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque or wait for the performance GT option for 495 horsepower and 462 lb-ft of torque.

Plus, the Mustang Mach-E will be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. You can drive it like a sports car or use it to tackle snow-covered roads. It could be the most capable Mustang ever.

2. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is comfortable

The electric pony has a nice interior with plenty of space. It offers more room than the Jaguar I-Pace. When the rear seats are folded flat, you can access up to 59.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The front trunk is also water-resistant and has a drain so that you can put your muddy gear in it.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E comes with a 15” infotainment center and can store up to three driver profiles that remember your favorite settings. It will easily connect to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and your favorite apps.

3. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is convenient

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is easy to charge at home. The Ford Mobile Charger comes standard and can provide 20 miles of range per charging hour when connected to a 240-Volt outlet. The optional Ford Connected Charger delivers 30 miles of range per charging hour.

With quick chargers on the road, the Ford Mustang Mach-E can charge about 60 miles of range in 10 minutes. Going from 10% to an 80% charge takes about 45 minutes. Plus, the FordPass Charging network will show you where the closest quick charging locations are, and access to the network is included for free during your first two years of ownership.

Plus, the potential savings are incredible. You may qualify for a $7,500 tax credit for driving an electric vehicle, depending on your location. An estimated $846 will be saved on fuel, and an estimated $431 could be saved on regularly scheduled maintenance.
