2025 Buick Enclave Review: This isn’t your Grandma’s Buick anymore
Unfortunately, Buick SUVs have had a reputation for being for old people. However, the redesigned 2025 Buick Enclave is ready to destroy that stereotype with athletic, modern, and attractive features.
2025 Buick Enclave review: Welcome to the future
First of all, after driving the Buick Encore, Buick Envision, and Buick Enclave, the Enclave is my Cinderella model. The size is just right, it’s the most comfortable model in the group, and the interior is exquisite.
But let’s cover a few potential 2025 Enclave drawbacks:
- The tech is primarily touchscreen-controlled.
- The third row is for smaller folks only. I didn’t fit back there and I’m 5’1”.
SuperCruise costs $4,395 to add. - How does the Buick Enclave drive?
The 2025 Buick Enclave is an SUV that is relaxing and convenient to drive. However, it also has an athletic nature to take advantage of.
The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine cranks out 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque. It has more power than the outgoing generation and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.5 seconds.
It provides a smooth power delivery and offers confident brakes. The handling could be a bit more responsive, but it corners well.
Also, the turning radius is very convenient. The Enclave is easy to maneuver in tight areas. It doesn’t feel as big as it looks, and parking this luxury bad boy is a breeze. If you want additional assistance, there is a 360-degree camera display and a Parking Assist feature.
Is the 2025 Enclave comfortable?
Yes, the 2025 Enclave is very comfortable. The front-row seats are available with lumbar adjustments and massaging capability. It’s easy to find the perfect fit and there’s plenty of space for stretching out.
The second-row seats are also well-padded and supportive for hours of comfort. They slide forward and back as needed. The third row is tight, but the seats are still well-padded in the back.
Also, the Enclave has a smooth ride. It glides over rough patches of the road without breaking a sweat to keep bumps out of the cabin.
The active noise cancellation keeps wind and road noise at bay. However, you will occasionally hear the engine roar under a harder acceleration.
Last but not least, the automatic climate control system is intelligent and fast-acting. It will automatically turn on the heated seats and steering wheel on cold mornings and ventilated seats are refreshing on muggy afternoons.

Does the Enclave have a nice interior?
Yes, the 2025 Buick Enclave has an upscale, luxurious interior with an attractive, modern style. The surfaces are wrapped in premium leather upholstery and it’s available in unique shades of navy blue and cream.
Brushed metal accents break up large sections of color and brush metal accents draw the eye. The panoramic sunroof allows natural light to the entire cabin without being too bright. Plus, the ambient lighting is incorporated into each row.
The layout is convenient with everything that you need placed within reach. Also, the plush carpet is very easy to clean.
Does the Buick Enclave have good tech?
The Buick Enclave is very advanced with available features such as a proximity tailgate, head-up display, parking assist, hands-free driving, a Wi-fi hotspot, and buttons to fold the seats flat.
However, the curved 30-inch infotainment screen misses the mark. The narrow size makes Apple carPlay a bit squished and the camera views are a little small.
You rely on the touchscreen to control the HVAC system and radio, which can be distracting. But the Bose audio system sounds excellent.
Does the Buick Enclave have enough space?
The 2025 Buick Enclave provides tons of storage bins and cubbies for personal items. There’s even a pass-through bin under the gear shifter for bags, snacks, and tech.
I found the center console and glove box to be generous while the seat pockets were a bit tight. There are plenty of cupholders in each row.
Also, there is a storage bin on the floor of the cargo hold for extra storage that can fit cases of water. The full-size spare tire is easy to access under the bin.
The Buick Enclave provides 22.9 cubic feet of storage behind the third row and up to 97.5 cubes overall. That’s excellent for the class.
Plus, the available roof rails provide extra storage space on the roof as needed and the Enclave can tow up to 5,000 lbs.
Overall, the 2025 Buick Enclave is luxurious, smart, comfortable, spacious, and engaging. However, it could be a little more athletic, the third row is tight, and the tech could be improved.
