Is the 2021 Buick Enclave Worth the Avenir Pricing?
The 2021 Buick Enclave has a base model price that makes it one of the most affordable entry-level luxury SUVs on the market. If you’re looking at higher trim levels and packages, however, you may be surprised to see how high the price can get. With such a gap in price between the base model and the Avenir package, is it worth spending the extra money to get into a higher trim level of the Buick Enclave?
The 2021 Buick Enclave
The 2021 Buick Enclave is considered an entry-level luxury SUV with a starting price of around $40,000 for the base model. As a mid-sized SUV, there is a lot to love about the Enclave, including its practicality and a surprising amount of luxury, as well as the space and comfort that it has to offer. But if you’re going to spend the money to buy one brand new, is it worth it to upgrade to the highest trim level?

The Avenir trim level
Buick names aren’t as common knowledge as some other brands, but the Avenir is the highest trim level available for the Buick Enclave. It doesn’t come cheap compared to the base model, and you can expect to pay the difference with a sticker price of around $54,000, making it over $10,000 more expensive than the base model. From the outside in, you can tell that the Avenir has a touch more luxury, such as the signature Avenir badging and upgraded front grille.

Extra space, extra luxury
The Buick Enclave is the underdog in the SUV market, but it does well to compete against the few other options that are available with third-row seating. It’s available with the option for all-wheel drive, which gives it a bit of a leg up over some of the other trim levels, though it is important to note that not all Avenirs have all-wheel drive.
The Avenir package comes with a slew of available options, like adaptive cruise control, premium suspension, and an additional tech package, but there are also a lot of features that come standard. This includes this safety features like automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and remote start, among many others.

For an extra dose of luxury, paying the extra price to upgrade from the base model Buick Enclave to the Avenir trim level isn’t a horrible idea, and with all it has to offer it is still modestly priced when compared to other entry-level luxury SUVs that offer the same.
