Families in need of a luxury SUV should put the 2025 Infiniti QX60 on their shortlist. It’s spacious, comfortable, capable, and well-rounded. This SUV only falls short in one area, and it’s not a deal breaker.

What holds the 2025 Infiniti QX60 back?

The 2025 Infiniti QX60 is part of the second generation that launched back in 2022. So, it should still feel advanced and modern.

However, the tech feels a little dated. Everything works quickly and the settings are easy to adjust. There are no problems when it comes to adjusting the ambient lighting or sound system preferences.

But the 12.3-inch center touchscreen doesn’t make the best use of its space. The graphics aren’t crystal clear, and the camera views could have a better resolution. While it’s easy to connect Wireless Apple CarPlay, there’s no wireless Android Auto.

The digital gauge cluster is helpful but lacks customization settings. Also, the head-up display is solid and the Bose audio system sounds pristine.

The safety features are effective without overly loud or sensitive alerts. Higher trim levels offer advanced features such as a hands-free liftgate, massaging chairs, puddle lights, a digital rearview mirror, and an air purifier.

Where does the 2025 Infiniti QX60 stand out?

The 2025 Infiniti QX60 is extremely comfortable in each row. The front row seats are massive with plenty of adjustment controls and support for long trips.

I was impressed by the amount of space I had in the second row with the adjustable captain’s chairs. Plus, at 5’1” I had plenty of space in the third row. Plus, the third-row reclines, making it tempting to nap back there.

The QX60 features a smooth ride as the suspension quickly dampens larger impacts for an uninterrupted ride. Plus, the interior is peaceful at highway speeds aside from an occasional engine roar.

It’s been a brutally cold winter in the southeast, but that’s fine. The Infiniti QX60 heats up and defrosts extremely quickly for toasty adventures. There are strong vents in each row to keep everyone comfortable.

Just to circle back to space for a minute, along with plenty of passenger space, there’s a solid amount of cargo room. You can access up to 14.5 cubic feet behind the third row, 41.6 cubic feet behind the second row, and up to 75.4 cubic feet total.

There is a storage bin built into the floor of the cargo hold and a cubby under the front gear shifter. Plus, there are plenty of trays and cup holders to take advantage of. If you need to haul more gear, the QX60 can tow up to 6,000 lbs.

Plus, this family hauler is fun to drive. The turbocharged 2,0-liter four-cylinder engine cranks out 268 hp and 286 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 7.5 seconds. It corners well with confident brakes too.

But the 2025 Infiniti QX60 is also well-equipped for relaxing, low-effort jaunts around town. The 19.35-foot turning radius is convenient and makes it easy to park and maneuver in tight city areas. The 360-degree camera helps avoid tightly packed obstacles.

Against more expensive rivals like the Audi Q7 and Mercedes GLE, the Infiniti QX60 stands out as an elegant and practical bargain that seats up to seven passengers. It’s spacious, comfortable, athletic, and convenient. It might be time for some tech upgrades, though.
